Upload single documents up to 2 GB and multiple documents up to 10 GB in one operation.
In the upload window, first select the documents you wish to upload using drag and drop or click on Browse. Once the documents have been selected, they will appear in a list. Allow print and text copying is chosen by default. You also have the option to allow download. When you have chosen which documents to upload and properties to set on them, press Upload.
Click here to see a list of supported file formats.
Admincontrol can convert your files to PDF when uploading. Microsoft Office documents (doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx and ppsx) are supported for converting. Please note that deviations may occur when you convert documents to PDF using the converters supplied. We recommend keeping Excel documents in the original format, and allowing both download/print.
Once all the files have been transferred to Admincontrol solution, you can continue working in the system while processing is ongoing in the background.
In My uploads you will always have an overview of what you have uploaded, and if any file fail to upload, it will be listed here.
Uploading an entire folder structure
Admincontrol supports uploading folder structures (including files and sub folders). You can upload multiple documents up to 10 GB in one operation.
Here is how you can do this:
- Place your entire folder structure in a .zip-file locally on your computer
- Navigate to the folder you wish to populate in Admincontrol
- Go to Upload – Upload and select the aforementioned .zip-file. You will be asked if you want to perform a simple upload, or to extract the contents of the zip-file
- Select that you want to Extract the contents, and then click Upload
After the upload has been completed, the folder you selected will be populated with the contents of the zip file you uploaded.
