In the Admincontrol app, you can increase the timeout period (minutes of inactivity before you need to log in again with your username and password).
Note: Increasing the timeout period can increase the risk of strangers accessing your data. Take care not to leave your unlocked device unattended!
First, we recommend going to Settings on your device and selecting Display & Brightness. You can see when your actual device will turn itself off, and you can increase the Auto-Lock setting. Once you have done that, as an administrator, you can check which settings you have defined for your portal.
To do this
- Log in via the web and go to Settings
- Tap App settings and increase the max idle time (minutes of inactivity) to for example 40 minutes. Be aware that users who have access to several portals in Admincontrol, the user interface of the company with the strictest security settings will apply
- If you want to change how long you can be out of the app without having to enter your full username and password when you go back in, please ask support
